Curious & Questioning

When I first starting questioning, I was anxious all of time time. I felt like I had to figure everything out that very moment. Slowly but surely things are getting better, and the anxiety is starting to disappear.

Now I just feel like chatting and finding someone I have a connection with. I'm kind of picky, so I don't know if that will ever happen. We'll see! Hubby and I are also reading "The Ethical Slut", and I think it's already going well. We had an amazing conversation after doing one of the exercises from the book.

Love your post-think you summed it up perfectly! The anxiety in the beginning was super tough, but then I learned to just enjoy it because its actually awesome to enjoy the places your mind can take you to sexually! And let's be honest-a woman's body is beautiful and sensual :)

@Shy_Kat Hey, thanks! Hopefully in the future they'll be longer. :D I'm still not great at organizing my thoughts. I'm glad you worked things out. I'm getting there... :lol:

Hooray for The Ethical Slut! Hope to hear more updates on your journey soon.

@ChemFem You read it already? How did you like it? :D

I hope there will be more to share soon!

I am the same way... picky but I know I'll find someone who connects with me

@Hufflepufflove3 Yeah, I'm usually happy that I'm so picky, but it does make it extremely hard sometimes. :/

Haha, only skimmed it unfortunately but planning to read it in its entirety soon. Most of what I've learned about polyamory has come from talking to people directly irl and lurking on r/poly.

I've only lurked, but my impression is that it's similar to here: lots of nice people with a willingness to answer questions from newbs. On Shybi, @BellaMynx has a great blog that addresses polyamory among other things.

@ChemFem, thanks!

That's how it seems! I posted once in the forum, and everyone was supportive and helpful.

I'll have to check out that blog. :lol:
