Hi ladies.

I am 52 and married (unhappily). I have had encounters with women but it has been many years. I now find myself in an unfulfilling marriage and realize that I don't want to live the rest of my life this way. I did a search for 'married women looking for female companionship ' and came across this site.  It seems to be just the place for me. Where I can be open with how I'm feeling and get some support along the way. I look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome. I understand your situation. I'm married 48 with 2 young kids. Have a secret gf past few months.  I want to stay in marriage but not sure how long the double life can go on. Good luck on your journey.

Thanks @grace82. It feels good to be able to speak freely so far. I'm hoping to make many new friends here and hopefully some day someone special.

Bitrimama, thanks for the feedback. I do understand that this isn't a dating site, it does help so much to see that there are many women like me out there. It's tough when you really have no one to share these feelings with.

I stay because we have small children and shared finances. I do know though that this relationship is not healthy for the kids either.  They need to see what a healthy relationship looks like, but for now, here I stay.
