House on the Prairie, The Waltons, Dallas and Knots Landing..

Love them ! Couldn't wait for Monday evenings at 8.10pm for the Waltons, then as soon as it finished at 9 I had to go to bed for school next morning ! lol

My parents never bothered with getting cable while I was a child, so I remember watching whatever they liked. My dad had an immature sense of humor. He liked crude shows, sometimes animated like The Simpsons and South Park. I remember other shows from the 90s and early 2000's, such as Malcolm in the Middle, Roseanne, etc. But of course Survivor was always on as well.

My favorite show ever when I was a kid was The Elephant Show with Sharon, Lois, and Bram.I was obsessed. Also, I loved Alf, and sort of wanted to marry him (didn't understand the concept that other species, particularly fictional ones, weren't marriage material).

I still struggle with that when it comes to just about all my favorite comic book heroes. As long as you're crushing on a fictional creature who could hypothetically give consent, I wouldn't sweat it. ;-)
