I had a really great drink downtown last week. It was called Forbidden Fruit, and though I'm not sure about exact ingredient amounts, it consisted of:

Absolut Pear vodka
Soda water
Lime juice
Chopped green apple

I can't do fruity sweet drinks and beer doesn't always hit the spot; this was like fizzy flavored water almost. I'm sure you could play around with vodka flavors, and probably leave out the apples altogether. I can't imagine they really make or break this concoction, but they are kinda yummy.
Anyway, that's my new favorite!

as far as shots - patron tequila or goldschlager

drink - margarita on the rocks

3 parts tequila
2 parts triple sec
1 part lime juice

i hate the mixes. too sweet.

My absolute favorite would have to be Long Island Iced Tea, though you have to be careful and not drink them fast, otherwise you get really smashed.

White Russians are good too... oh, and Tequila Sunrise.

For beer I'm stuck in a tie between Heineken, Pilsner Urquell, and Grolsch. If I'm stuck with domestic, it's usually MGD or Coors Light.

I don't do shots that much so I can't really say I have a favorite. I have had tequila though and it was pretty awful straight.

There's a drink I had recently at the Mountain Bar in Chinatown in LA called a "Hot Asian Chick." Not quite sure what all was in it, but it was damn good, and the bartender who served it to me was indeed a hot asian chick (which made it rather awkward to order the drink... )

I like anything fruity. But there was one time that I was at a bar and a friend ordered me something she thought I'd like, and I did like it and had 3. Didn't even give me a light buzz before I threw it all up! I was very disappointed, but at least it wasn't my money we wasted. I only remember it had orange juice in it. I can't remember what else. I think there were 3 or 4 different things. But I can't remember. I never remember names of things or what goes in them. So I bought a book that has recipes for different beverages. That will help, if I actually read it anyway!

I despise Jack Daniels and Jager. :I They're just 'ew' to me.

Rum makes me....*coughs*...yeah.

Wine makes me feel O SO FINE. (Whites, reds or blushes. Nothing dry, I prefer sweet wines.)

And I can choke down a beer. Yea, only one. XD;

Straight gin shots made me act an idiot.

Margaritas are wonderful, along with strawberry daquiries and pina coladas.

Cosmopolitians, too. And I had a blue drink in a martini glass that one of the bartenders made up for me. ^_~ Blue is my favorite color, so anytime I can get a blue alcoholic drink, I'll go for it.

Screwdrivers are alright, but me and orange juice don't get along very good, so I have to limit my intake.

Midori sours are also love.

Sometimes when at home I'll make a drink of diet pepsi, grenadine and vanilla vodka.. tastes like cherry vanilla pepsi
I also like Amaretto sours and frou frou drinks.

I love fruity almost tart drinks. I LOVE margaritas on the rocks with salt! YUM!! And I LOVE straight up tequila shots!!! They are just fun fun fun!
